HOW TO GET THERE
Lesotho roads are not fenced. Care should be taken for Children and animals crossing the roads.
The road is tarred, and most vehicles can negotiate the pass.
A 4x4 is necessary in the winter months as black ice and snow appears on the roads.
Government and Mine road works send out graders in the winter after snowfalls, to open the roads and throw salt on the roads to melt the ice.
Make sure you buckle-up, and that your vehicle is roadworthy as they have regular road blocks with spot fines.
